Number of absent SPM 2024 candidates drops compared to 2023, says Education DG

Education Ministry director-general Datuk Azman Adnan told a press conference on Thursday (April 24) that a total of 6,246 candidates were absent for the 2024 SPM examination, compared to 8,676 in 2023.

He said the decrease reflected the effectiveness of various initiatives and interventions implemented by the ministry.
