Not compulsory to update info on Padu, says Rafizi

While it is not compulsory for members of the public to update their information on the soon-to-be-launched national central database or Padu, this means that their eligibility for targeted subsidies will be based on details already available in the government system, says Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli.

He said on Friday (Dec 29), the registration and update of information under Padu will take place for three months from Jan 2 to March 31.
