No need for 14-day quarantine if returnees from Sabah tested negative for Covid-19

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob told reporters in Kota Kinabalu on Sunday that those returning to Peninsular Malaysia from Sabah are not required to be quarantined for 14 days if they tested negative for Covid-19 in screening at airports starting from Sunday.

The Health Ministry said it is mandatory for returnees from Sabah to undergo swab tests at entry points following a spike in Covid-19 cases in the state.
