Nine charged with drink-driving in Johor under amended Road Transport Act

The Johor Baru Magistrate’s Court on Monday (Oct 26) charged nine people for drink-driving under the new Road Transport (Amendment) Act 2020.

Under the newly amended Act, those who cause death due to recklessness or driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs will have to face stiffer penalties.
