Newly minted senators pledge to give their best

The six new senators, who were sworn in at the Dewan Negara on Tuesday (March 10) following their appointments as ministers or deputy ministers in Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin's Cabinet, have pledged to give their best.

Former CIMB Group Holdings Bhd CEO Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, who has been appointed as Finance Minister, hopes to be able to work without any political interference and pledges to do his best to tackle the country’s economy issues.
