Nepal and China flood: Rescuers clear last stretch of cut-off road at Gyirong port

Chinese rescue teams on Tuesday (Sept 1) continued efforts to clear a key road leading to the mudslide disaster zone in Tibet's Gyirong county.
Less than 1km of the damaged road remained to be cleared to allow more rescue personnel to reach the disaster zone where the Gyirong Port and border crossing complex used to be before the Aug 26 glacier collapse and flash flood.
