Negri polls: Tok Mat pauses campaign for Asean meeting

Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said he will have to temporarily put his Negri Sembilan election campaign on hold after nomination day to attend the Asean Foreign Ministers' Meeting (AMM) in Manila, the Philippines.

Speaking to reporters after his nomination for the Rantau seat on Saturday (July 18), the Rembau MP said the meeting is one of Asean's key annual gatherings, where foreign ministers discuss regional political and security cooperation, as well as the bloc's ties with external partners.
