National food bank initiative launched at Universiti Malaya

The national food bank initiative has been launched at Universiti Malaya and five other universities in an effort to help students from poor families.

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said surplus food from supermarkets will be distributed among university students.
