Najib's 1MDB trial cut short as witness down with Covid-19

Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) corruption trial was cut short Friday (Dec 15) after the Kuala Lumpur High Court was told that a key witness was infected with Covid-19 while another was listed as a close contact of a patient.

The witnesses involved are Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission investigating officer Nur Aida Arifin and Bank Negara Malaysia analyst Adam Ariff Mohd Roslan.
