The presence of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia member and former Umno venteran Tan Sri Rais Yatim at the Ummah rally to defend Malay rights has raised a few eyebrows. Former Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said Rais is a strong supporter of Bahasa Malaysia as the national language and this is why he speaks out about the issue of the recognition of the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) at the rally held in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
