Najib files bid to obtain 1MDB-linked audio recordings, says ‘crucial’ for defence

Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has filed an application to obtain the purported audio recordings of him and several officials in discussions over dealings linked to 1MDB and SRC International.

In Najib’s affidavit filed on Tuesday, the former prime minister wanted MACC to produce the recordings as they are crucial for his defence in the ongoing SRC International and 1MDB trials.
