National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) director-general Datuk Mohtar Mohd Abd Rahman said the Keramat Permai Flats case was not a disaster but an untoward incident.

Speaking to reporters on Monday after attending a disaster management briefing, Mohtar said the agency is monitoring the situation closely together with the Works Department, Selangor state Development Corporation and Fire and Rescue Department.

More than 200 occupants were evacuated from Block F of the Taman Keramat Permai Flats after cracks were found in the building on Saturday.
