Mujahid: Change the negative perception of Islam

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa said the negative perceptions of Islam that are considered to be unjust and harsh ought to be corrected to uphold Islam in the country.

Dr Mujahid said this during the National Level Ma'al Hijrah Celebration on Monday night at the Federal Territory Mosque.

He also said the framework should be seen in a broader and more universal scope based on local culture without affecting the Islamic fundamental principles.
