Muhyiddin takes a swipe at Umno for asking supporters to vote for DAP

It is out of the ordinary when an Umno leader ordered party supporters to cast their votes for DAP in the upcoming six state elections, says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

The Perikatan Nasional chairman, who is also Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia president, said this when met during the Pagoh parliamentary constituency Hari Raya Aidilfitri event on Saturday (May 20) that during his 40-year stint with Umno, he never heard such a thing before.

Muhyiddin added that Umno now has gone astray from its original struggle and ideology when a leader wants supporters to vote for DAP.
