More than memory: A call for peace at KL remembrance ceremony

An annual memorial was held at the KL Hokkien Cemetery on Sunday (Jan 11) to honour Malayan civilians and servicemen massacred during the Japanese Occupation.
Speakers, including KLSCAH president Ngan Teng Ye and Cheras MP Tan Kok Wai, stressed that remembering the past is a warning for the future and a reminder to cherish peace, unity and humanity.
