Mohamad Hassan to know on Aug 29 if he is still Rantau rep

The Election Court fixed Aug 29 to decide an application by former Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan to strike out an election petition filed by a PKR member to nullify his election result where he was declared as the winner of the Rantau state seat unopposed in the May 9 general election.
Dr S. Streram, who was PKR’s candidate for the same seat, filed the petition on May 23 after he was barred from entering the nomination centre at Dewan Seri Rembau to file his candidacy papers on April 28.
