Ministry to launch local white rice programme

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security will be launching a local white rice programme on Friday (Sept 8) to address disruptions in the supply market.

Its minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu also reiterated that the price remained at the controlled price of RM2.60 per kg.
