Military tensions rise as China launches live-fire drills around Taiwan

China conducted live-fire military drills around Taiwan on Monday (Dec 29), deploying troops, warships, fighter jets, and artillery in its “Justice Mission 2025” exercises.

Taiwan responded by mobilising soldiers and showcasing U.S.-made hardware in defense rehearsals.
