Middle east conflict: Malaysia expresses sympathy, support for Qatar, Bahrain

Malaysia has expressed its sympathy and support for Qatar and Bahrain, which are facing threats to their sovereignty, infrastructure and national security following Iran’s retaliatory action against attacks by the Israeli regime together with the United States.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said this was conveyed during separate phone conversations on Friday (March 6) night with Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and, later, with Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
