MIC still with Barisan, no decision yet on whether to leave, says Saravanan

MIC has denied claims by Perikatan Nasional secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan that the veteran Indian-based party has officially joined the opposition coalition.

Its deputy president Datuk Seri M. Saravanan said no such decision has been made, stressing that any move away from Barisan Nasional would require a formal vote by the party's Central Working Committee.
