Mentally ill man rescued in dramatic fashion in Sandakan

A man believed to be mentally ill has finally been rescued after refusing to come down from the rooftop of his apartment for over 60 hours in Sandakan, Sabah on Thursday (Feb 15).

Firefighters and policemen had been trying to persuade the 39-year-old man to come down after he climbed to the top of the three-storey Block D at the Flat Sejati Apartment at 10.58pm on Monday night (Feb 12).
