Melaka proposing to change Melaka Gateway’s artificial island’s status

Melaka state government is negotiating with Melaka Gateway’s master developer, KAJ Development Sdn Bhd, to change the freehold status of the 81-hectare man-made island to 99 years leasehold. Melaka Industry, Trade and Investment Committee chairman Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen told reporters this on Friday after his meeting with the Council of Eminent Persons at Menara Ilham at Putrajaya.
