Being a lawmaker’s wife is no obstacle to serving the people, says Bersatu’s Pantai Kundor candidate Datin Seri Dr Asmah Samat.

The former public health specialist, 61, whose husband Datuk Seri Jamil Salleh is the Dengkil assemblyman in Selangor, said candidates should be judged on their capabilities, integrity and commitment to public service rather than their family ties.
