Melaka polls: Barisan to hold alliance talks with two separate political groups next week

Barisan Nasional will hold separate talks with two political groups next week as it considers possible alliances for the upcoming Melaka polls, says chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Ahmad Zahid confirmed the meetings but declined to identify the groups, including whether they were Perikatan Nasional or PAS.

He said Barisan had yet to decide on a partner and would weigh the risks and benefits of each option.
