Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu has expressed concerns over political parties and election candidates using weddings and birthday receptions to approach voters if the ban for political gatherings ahead of the Melaka state election is to take effect.

Ahmad Faizal, who is also Perikatan Nasional coalition deputy chairman, said that on Monday (Oct 25) and urged all parties to put the interests and safety of the people first when campaigning.
