Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said on May 4 that Tehran was reviewing the latest United States proposal, while accusing Washington of complicating the diplomatic process to end the war.
The United Arab Emirates government said its decision to exit OPEC and OPEC+ was not directed against anyone but meant to serve national interests, and it also slammed Tehran for holding the Strait of Hormuz hostage and using it for threats and economic blackmail.
