Mat Sabu: Aquaculture production output increases each year

After his visit to a fish farm in Rawang, Selangor on Sunday (Jan 21), Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu told reporters that the ministry is optimistic that the country’s aquaculture industry players would surpass the national production target of 500,000 metric tonnes this year.

From 2020 until 2023, Selangor alone produced 90,800 metric tonnes of aquaculture products.
