Man pleads guilty to conning colleagues with sob story of losing family members to Covid-19

A Pengerang Integrated Complex contract supervisor who sought donations from the public by falsely claiming that his family members had died of Covid-19, was slapped with a four years jail, fined RM16,000 and given two strokes of the cane by the Kota Tinggi Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday (Sept 8).
