Man allegedly attacked by son dies from injuries

67-year-old Mohd Tarmizi Abdul Hamid, who was seriously injured in an attack allegedly by his drug addict son, died at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar on Thursday due to a heart attack. The suspect, who tested positive for drugs, has been remanded for seven days pending further investigation.
