Malaysians detained in flotilla raid safe, negotiations underway

Malaysians detained by Israeli forces after the Global Sumud Flotilla interception are safe and in good health, said Sumud Nusantara Command Centre (SNCC) director-general Datuk Dr Sani Araby Abdul Alim Araby.
He said lawyers from Adalah, a legal centre for Arab minority rights in Israel, have met the detainees, and negotiations — expected to take around 48 hours — are underway to secure their release.
He also assured that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Foreign Minister, and Cabinet members are fully committed to bringing the detained Malaysians home.
