Malaysian pharmaceuticals, semiconductors exempt from US tariffs, minister says

Malaysian pharmaceutical products and semiconductors will be exempt from the new 19% US tariff on exports, said Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

Speaking at a press briefing on Friday (Aug 1), Zafrul said the tariff on other Malaysian goods will take effect on August 8.
