Malaysian contingent's WSC Shanghai campaign kicks off

The Malaysian contingent's campaign at the WorldSkills Competition Shanghai 2026 began on Wednesday (Sept 23), with 22 national youth participants aiming to secure the country's maiden gold medal at the world's most prestigious skills competition.

Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan, who is the country's WSC Chef de Mission, said he is confident in the contingent's capabilities based on its performances in previous regional competitions.
