Malaysia to have single border control agency soon

After his visit to the Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex in Johor Baru on Friday, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail told reporters that Malaysia will soon have a single agency with full authority at the country's entry points.

“When it comes to border issues, people will think about the Immigration Department but there are more than 20 agencies involved and (it's hard to) remember every single one,” he said.
