Malaysia-Thai border checkpoints in Kedah open 24/7 for cargo

Deputy Foreign Minister Marzuki Yahaya and Adviser to the Foreign Minister of Thailand, Chaisiri Anamaarn jointly re-opened the Bukit Kayu Hitam and Sadao checkpoints at the Thai-Malaysia border at midnight on Tuesday.

The 24-hour operations is a three-month trial period and is an effort to further enhance connectivity, investment and flow of trade between Malaysia and Thailand.
