The Malaysian government told a videoconference with other governments in Asean on Tuesday that it will support the setting up of a Covid-19 Asean Response Fund to expand the scale of our existing emergency stockpiles for any future pandemics in the region.

Malaysian Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said Asean nations must further develop their regional reserves of medical supplies and utilise relevant reserve warehouses to support the needs of member states in public health emergencies.
