Malaysia ready to participate in Covid-19 vaccine trials, says Health DG

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Malaysia is ready to participate in vaccine trials should any country that produces it choose to collaborate with Malaysia.

Dr Hisham added that even though Malaysia has no foundation to create a vaccine at the moment, but the country can help in manufacturing the vaccine.

Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin was reported as saying that his ministry is collaborating with the Chinese Embassy in Kuala Lumpur regarding the possibility of cooperation for Covid-19 vaccine clinical trials.
