Malaysia ramps up border checks for Nipah virus

Vigilance over health screenings at border entry points in several Southeast Asian countries including Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore has been upped with the outbreak of the Nipah virus in India.

Earlier this week, news reports from India said two Nipah cases were reported in the West Bengal state.
