Malaysia-China partnership can only grow stronger, says King

His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, is confident that Malaysia’s partnership with China will grow stronger despite ongoing global geopolitical challenges.

In a Facebook post, Sultan Ibrahim emphasised the country's commitment to deeper economic integration, stronger supply chains and industrial collaboration, improved connectivity, and the significance of mutual respect and benefit in international partnerships.

The statement followed His Majesty’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at Istana Negara on Wed (April 16), held in conjunction with the President’s state visit to Malaysia.
