MACC yet to decide on extending former Army chief's remand, says Azam

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has yet to decide on extending the remand of former Army chief Jeneral Tan Sri Muhammad Hafizuddeain Jantan in a tender procurement graft probe.

Its chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said MACC is still assessing the need for further investigation before making any decision on the remand, which expires on Wednesday (Jan 14).
