MACC to propose charging two involved in RM1.1bil semiconductor deal, says Azam

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has proposed charging two individuals in connection with its investigation into the RM1.1bil semiconductor investment deal involving the Economy Ministry and a UK-based firm, says chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki.
Its chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said statements have been recorded from 22 witnesses, including former economy minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli and his former aide, James Chai.
