“I felt I needed to do something. My conscience wouldn’t be at peace if I sat home quietly while all this happens about 10 minutes away from my house.”

Lee Yen, a Malaysian student, who is currently living in Minneapolis, shares how the aftermath of George Floyd’s death has affected her life and why she volunteered to clean the streets of the city amid mass protests.
