M’sia to donate another RM100mil to Gaza, says PM

Malaysia will donate another RM100mil to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced during a special address at Dataran Merdeka on Sunday (Aug 24).

In his special address, Anwar condemned Israel over the man-made famine in Gaza, vowing that Malaysians will never abandon the Palestinian struggle.

He also launched the Sumud Nusantara Convoy, involving eight countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Thailand, which will depart in two groups on Aug 31 and Sept 4.
