LTTE arrests: DAP to file legal challenge

DAP lawyer Ramkarpal Singh said he will file a legal challenge to the detention without trial of the party’s two lawmakers over suspected links to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) militant group.

He spoke to reporters after visiting Seremban Jaya assemblyman P. Gunasekaran and Gadek assemblyman G. Saminathan at the police national headquarters in Bukit Aman on Monday.

Sosma allows police to detain individuals for up to 28 days without facing any charge.
