The government will closely monitor national fuel consumption and publish weekly demand data to assess the impact of energy-saving measures amid ongoing geopolitical tensions, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

He also denied claims of a fuel shortage, describing reported fuel pump outages as isolated cases, and confirmed that targeted diesel subsidies will continue.
