Women’s singles shuttler K. Letshanaa stunned world No. 9 Tomoka Miyazaki of Japan on Thursday (May 21) to advance to the Malaysia Masters quarter-finals.

World No. 32 Letshanaa marked her first win against a current top 10 player after beating third seed Miyazaki 21-15, 21-17 in 45 minutes at the Unifi Arena in Bukit Jalil.
