A lawyer has been arrested for allegedly defrauding his client of RM2.7mil in managing the purchase of a plot of land in Gombak, Selangor.

Bukit Aman commercial crime investigation department (CCID) director Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf told a special media conference on Friday (Nov 3) that investigations showed the suspect has two past records related to criminal breach of trust.
