The group of people arrested by police at a camp in the jungle of Ulu Rening, Selangor on Tuesday was there for agriculture activities.

Amy Zairy Rahmat, who represented 154 of those arrested, said the group had been at the campsite before the movement control order (MCO) started.

"They were there since February before the MCO was announced. When the Prime Minister announced the MCO, they decided to stay put at their location.

"They were not there illegally as the land belongs to one of the 154 people," he said.
