Ku Li: HSR is a worthwhile project

Umno veteran Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah on Thursday said that the KL-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) is a worthwhile project as it would bring the two neighbouring countries together and outweighs many other considerations. Earlier, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that the government will look to negotiate the deferment of the project as Malaysia would have to pay a very high compensation if it unilaterally discards the agreement.
