The Housing and Local Development Ministry (KPKT) has stressed that it has never granted licences to illegal immigrants to run any business in the country.

Its Minister Nga Kor Ming said on Thursday (Jan 4) that this was due to the fact that the government has always been consistent in safeguarding the safety and welfare of the local community.
