KPDNHEP says no complaints of price hike for red chili

After a visit to the NSK Trade City in Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur on Monday, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi told reporters that the ministry had yet to receive any complaint of a price increase for red chili as the Chinese New Year celebration approaches.

He said the prices for red chili did not go up but rather come down.

He was responding to reports that prices for red chili had recently increased to RM29 per kilo.
